First time Paul met Maxine was on the night of May 13th 1961 their paths crossed after Maxine had come out from the cinema with her best friend Janis. Michael, Janis's friend was waiting outside to meet her, Maxine was about to leave to go home, when Michael said he had friends in town he would like her to meet. At that moment a group of Michael's friends just passed by, they came over to talk to their friend Michael after some while they all walked off leaving Michael, Janis and Maxine still chatting. Paul was in the group who had just walked off, he thought Maxine was someone he would like to get to know better, so he turned and walked back alone to join his friend Michael still chatting to Janis and Maxine. Paul and Maxine from that moment were destined to always be together their friendship blossomed to romance and their 'Love Story' began culminating in their marriage on June 7th 1965.
